Common Problems

Symptom: After upgrading to Internet Explorer version 8, or Mozilla Firefox version 3.5.5, when clicking an application link, the browser either closes, or an error is encountered that says "To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program".

  • Click here for possible solutions.
  • Symptom: After following the instructions and clicking on the application link all you see is a white screen with a caption that says "Click the back arrow to return to the applications menu".

  • Symptom: After following the instructions and clicking on the application link you receive the message "Attachment to the running Virtual Machine failed".

  • Symptom: After clicking on a button to run a report, the report appears to run, but Adobe Acrobat does not open and the report does not pop up.
